Tamarack Homeowners:
As your Treasurer, I wanted to provide you with a brief update on TMA's finances. We have made great progress in all areas of TMA's financial health, specifically in the areas of collections and cost-controls. When I took the helm as Treasurer in late 2008 our delinquencies were only at 54%, now we are at 20% delinquencyand making progress every month. The 2% transfer has generated $214,210 in 2010,a $187,809 increase over 2009.
Now with the resort open for winter operations we are seeing more properties being sold and more delinquent homeowners have paid their dues.
Mountain Ops through 1/16/11 has recouped all costs and is currently at $8,016 in the Black. We have fulfilled 1,712 Season Passes ( our goal was 1000) and have brought in $604,000 in revenue over $596,000 in expenses including the Land Lease and Insurance.
We appreciate all the homeowners financial and emotional support, The resort opening was made possible in large part to you. If you have any additional comments or suggestions please email them to me at doug@dougdvorak.com.
Warmest best wishes for a prosperous 2011!
Doug Dvorak
TMA Treasurer and Chairman of the Board
